A: The First Midwest Bank routing number is 071901604.

A: Your account number is a ten-digit number along the bottom of your check. It is the second number, following our routing number. (See it on a check.)

You can also find your account number along the top of your statement, whether you have online or paper statements.

A: Check deposits made in-branch or at an ATM post to your account on the following business day.

Cash deposits made at a bank branch on Monday through Friday generally post that business day. The cutoff time varies depending on the closing hours of a given branch. In-branch cash deposits made on Saturday post the following business day; cash deposits made at a night depository typically post one hour after the branch’s next scheduled opening time Monday through Friday.

Cutoff times for other deposits to be credited on the same business day:

Deposits after the cutoff time will post to the account on the following business day.

Please note: Cash deposits made at a First Midwest ATM after the cutoff time may reflect as available on your receipt and within Online Banking but will not be available to pay items posting on that business day.

“Pending” means we have received your deposit request, but it has not yet been fully processed.

*POS Deposits include certain merchant refunds and other incoming digital card transfers.

**External transfers (to or from a non-First Midwest Bank Account) may be subject to different cutoff times, which are disclosed to you in Online Banking or Mobile Banking, as applicable.

A: “MC” stands for “MasterCard authorization.” This means that a transaction has been approved for funds to be deducted from an account, using a First Midwest debit MasterCard®, but the transaction has not yet been fully processed.

A: Please visit our instructions for using Zelle. (Note: if you haven’t already, you will need to be enrolled in Online Banking and download the First Midwest Mobile App to use Zelle.)

Spending limits for Zelle are $400 per transaction, and $600 per day.

1 The minimum balance to open a checking Account is $100, except that a Student Checking Account requires a $25 minimum balance to open.
2 Subject to credit approval. Property insurance is required on loans secured by property. Cannot be combined with other rebates, discounts, or promotional offers on a single loan number. Rebate may take up to 120 days to appear in your account. Rebate may be subject to IRS tax reporting.
3 Additional fees will apply for duplicate checks.
4 Qualifying direct deposits are salary, pension, Social Security, or other regular monthly income electronically deposited to your Account by your employer or an outside agency. Transfers from one Account to another, or deposits made at a banking location or ATM, do not qualify as a direct deposit.

6 Upon request, monthly maintenance fee waived for the first six (6) analysis periods for a Statement Savings Account with an automatic savings transfer of $25 or more from the Midwest Checking Account.
7 Discount requires auto payment set-up from First Midwest checking account. Discount can be applied to largest Safe Deposit Box owned.
8 For each month there is an automatic savings transfer of $50 or more from your Diamond Checking Account to your Diamond Savings Account, the Diamond Savings Account’s monthly maintenance fee will be waived.

If you are not enrolled in Custom Auto Transfer or another Overdraft protection service, transactions that would result in Overdrafts will be declined or returned unless prohibited by Applicable Law. First Midwest reserves the right to close a Student Checking Account or convert the Account to another non-interest bearing checking Account if there are 10 or more Overdraft occurrences within a 12-month period.
15 No ATM Transaction Fees charged for debit Mastercard® transactions made at First Midwest Bank ATMs and Allpoint® ATMs. If you use an ATM from a different ATM operator, you may be charged a fee by the ATM operator and you may also be charged an ATM Transaction Fee by First Midwest.
16 Not available for Health Savings Accounts. Subject to credit approval. Property insurance is required on loans secured by a property.
