Using Google Pay™

Make secure purchases with your First Midwest Bank Debit Card1 by using the Google Pay™ app. It runs on any NFC-enabled Android device running 5.0 (Lollipop) or above. In many cases, the app is already on your device. But you can verify compatibility by opening “Settings” and selecting “About Device.”

You can even send or request money instantly with your debit card when you enter your contact’s email address or phone number.

Getting Started Is Easy as 1, 2, 3

1) Add

If you need to download the Google PayTM app, just visit the Google Play™ store or Apple App store®.  Then, add your First Midwest Bank Debit Card when you select “Payment” and tap “Add + > Credit or debit card.”

2) Manage

Set your First Midwest Bank Debit Card as your default when you tap the card’s image within the app.

3) Pay

Use Google PayTM at millions of restaurants, retailers and inside your favorite mobile shopping apps. For in-app purchases, choose Google PayTM during checkout and then hold down Touch ID. Or for in-store purchases, hold your Android phone near the contactless reader (payment terminal) with your finger on Touch ID. You can use Google PayTM wherever you see these symbols at checkout:

Along with your authentication, your Android Device Account Number will enable the purchase and appear on merchant receipts. View Google PayTM Terms of Service.
